The justice system is a framework designed to uphold the rule of law, protect individual rights, and ensure that justice is served. It consists of various components, including law enforcement, the judiciary, correctional institutions. and, yes, the political. Each of these elements plays a crucial role in impacting our society and how we live in it.


Key Components of the Justice System


  1. Law Enforcement

    Law enforcement agencies, such as police departments, are responsible for enforcing laws, investigating crimes, and apprehending offenders. They serve as the first point of contact for citizens who report crimes or seek assistance.

  2. Judiciary

    The judiciary interprets and applies the law. Courts are where legal disputes are resolved, and justice is administered. Judges, juries, and attorneys all play vital roles in this process.

  3. The Legislature

    The leglislature passes laws impacting legal rights. From issues involving criminal rights to those involving the rigth to recover damages in the court system, legislative bodies make laws that directly impacts legal rights of people directly and indirectly impacting the lives of everyone.

Take for example, Presidential executive orders such as implementing tariffs, changing voting rights, or implemeting policies and procedures. These actions will have legal conseuences.
